Park Facts:

This 435-acre park is conveniently located in the suburban area of West Chester.  Voice of America (aka VOA) Park features a 35-acre stocked lake and 1.4 mile scenic paved trail around the water.  Visitors can fish, walk, jog or just sit and enjoy the view from the patio at the new Ronald Reagan Lodge.  Available WiFi allows guests to combine business and pleasure in and around the Lodge.  There is also a pavilion for picnic lunches and gatherings or just people-watching.  Wiggly Field dogpark allows guests and their four-legged friends the opportunity to get out too.  Prefer to explore wildlife? Much of the park’s acreage remains grassland and was designated as an “Important Birding Area” by Audubon Ohio.  This park is open year-round and during winter, the 65 foot sledding hill is a delight for adults and kids of all ages!  The Voice of America Park has something for everyone!

The Ronald Reagan Lodge and the Bait & Tackle Shop include a reception hall, meeting room, outdoor pavilion and retail facility.    The Lodge features two rooms available for rent for either business or social events.  The beautiful setting allows for more formal entertaining or can be scaled back to a more homey feel as well.  Reserved events or programs hosted by MetroParks can feature catering from a selected list and/or adult beverages as well.  The retail area (Bait & Tackle Shop) seasonally provides fishing permits, boat rentals, bait, tackle, beverages and snacks.   

Check the website regularly for all of the events scheduled at this park including a summer concert series, KiteFest and Dogfest.

The VOA Walking Club is walking every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9am at VOA. Meet in the breezeway at the Lodge. A 256-acre portion of the park originally under the jurisdiction of West Chester Township was transferred to MetroParks in April, 2008.  On Tuesday, July 15, 2008, the Board of Park Commissioners approved the Voice of America Park Enhancement Plan.  Click here for details that include a large athletic complex and amphitheater.
